IPHASX J023538.6+633823
This is the first image of IPHASX J023538.6+633823 in Cassiopeia.
It is a 134 arcsec planetary nebula. Originally detected via the Isaac Newton Telescope Photometric Hα Survey (IPHAS), it was initially classified as a "probable" planetary nebula candidate. However, following deep spectroscopic analysis using the OSIRIS long-slit spectrograph on the 10.4-meter Gran Telescopio Canarias (GTC) on La Palma, astronomers officially upgraded its status to a "True" (confirmed) planetary nebula.
