Abell 12
Awarded European Astronomy Picture Of The Day www.facebook.com/EuropeanAPOD/posts/3775524999232753

Abell 12 is a planetary nebula in the constellation of Orion. It is known as the "hidden planetary" nebula because it lies in the glare of 4th magnitude star Mu Orionis. To control the glare I blended luminance data with Ha data.
