Abell 34
British Astronomical Association Picture Of The Week 12 March 2021
Amateur Astronomy Photo Of The Day 6 April 2021 www.aapod2.com/blog/abell-34

Another rarely-imaged planetary nebula as a result of it's extreme faintness. It sits in the constellation Hydra at around 2400 light years from Earth. Two very distant tiny galaxies accompany its western (right hand side) limb. It is 290 arc seconds in diameter.  This deep image reveals what appears to be a double rim structure, suggesting that it may be a bi-polar PN viewed almost end-on.
