IC 410 - The Tadpoles
A close up of the lovely tadpoles which are part of IC 410 - a dusty emission nebula in the constellation of Auriga. These are about 12,000 light years from Earth. They are usually presented in the Hubble Palette, however I'm an old-fashioned purist and prefer to use colours that correspond with the actual emission wavelengths, even if it's not as pretty as the Hubble Palette!
