NGC 4038 and 4039
The Antennae Galaxies, individually known as NGC 4038 and NGC 4039, are a pair of interacting galaxies in the constellation Corvus. They are going through a starburst phase, where the collision of clouds of gas and dust, with entangled magnetic fields, are causing rapid star formation.
