NGC 253 is an intermediate spiral galaxy in the constellation Sculptor. At declination -25 I had thought that this would be too low for me to capture over the walls of my observatory in Spain, but decided to give it a try. I'm delighted to say that I was wrong- although capturing through so much unstable atmosphere was a challenge. I think this is such a handsome galaxy.
