PuWe 1
PuWe 1 (PNG 158.9 + 17.8) is a large low surface brightness planetary nebula in the constellation of Lynx. It is one of the largest planetary nebula in the sky with an angular diameter of 1250 arc seconds. It was discovered by A Purgathofer and R Weinberger in 1980. Estimates of its distance vary between 1200 and 3500 light years. It is about 4 light years across.
